What’s your E3 Leadership Endorsement Score (E3LES)?

The E3 Leadership Endorsement Score (E3LES) is a measurement of loyalty a leader has earned, similar to the well-known NPS (Net Promotor Score), which is used to measure whether consumers would recommend a product, company or service to a friend or colleague.  This is not based upon how nice someone is, or how popular they are, it is about understanding the impact that a leader has, their ability to deliver results, and connect to the hearts of their team.  A high E3LES means people will recommend others to join the team and would work for that leader again if the opportunity presented itself.  Think about the leader you admire most and would work for in a heartbeat.  Do YOU personally have that endorsement?

Your leadership capabilities can only truly be endorsed by those you work with, and most importantly by those that report to you.  You may assess yourself as the best E3 Leader, but if your employees would not recommend their best friend or colleague to work for your or join your team, or follow you to the next role, where is your value as a leader?  As leaders, our primary responsibility is to deliver results.  However, we can’t successfully deliver results without attracting talent and inspiring them to stay and help you deliver those results.  People matter!
